The Self(ie) Project is a therapy group designed to explore self-esteem, self-worth, self-care and self-compassion in a meaningful, supportive space. In a culture that constantly tells us how we should feel, look and present ourselves, this group allows us to slow down and examine how we see ourselves…and why. Through guided discussion and therapeutic prompts, group members will explore the narratives they attach to their self(ies) and learn how to respond to themselves with greater curiosity, kindness, and care. We will tend to our internal reactions, challenge self-criticism, and build a more compassionate relationship with self.
Topics of Exploration:
- The role of comparison, judgment, and internalized standards
- How self-image impacts self-esteem and self-worth
- Practicing self-compassion instead self-criticism
- Using self-awareness to support healthier self-care
- Learning to see oneself with more honesty and kindness.

*A bonus parent is a loving, non-biological adult who takes on a significant, nurturing role in a child’s life, often in a blended family setting, offering extra support and care beyond traditional family roles, like a stepparent, but also extending to other mentors or family friends who provide consistent, positive parenting influence.
